Langstaff-Ellis are high-end bespoke cabinet designers and makers. Due to strong and reliable growth, we are now looking for a Technical Designer to join our design team of five people. Our highly motivated team provide a friendly and professional service to our clients who range from private individuals to professional designers, most of which within this role, will be in a domestic setting.
Technical Design. Langstaff-Ellis have built a reputation of designing stunning furniture and interiors from scratch and with our technically advanced workshops, anything is possible. We are looking for a technical designer who understands bespoke cabinet construction to the smallest detail. Duties include:
The use of Cabinet Vision 3d Design software (training given)
The use of Sketchup
Design bespoke kitchens, wardrobes, AV cabinet and interior woodwork with technical details.
Working with our sales design team to bring the technical and production details to a project in readiness for workshop manufacturing.

Positive, organised, friendly and personable
Someone who understands how bespoke kitchens and furniture are constructed
Will be able to take concept drawings and create a set of fully technical drawings detailed enough for our makers to produce from
Experience using CAD software, Sketchup or Cabinet Vision
A good level of experience of furniture ironmongery used within cabinet making.
